Most of our construction projects are designed by us and we often do design work to be built by others. We are a high technology shop using the latest CAD functionality.  We draw in 3 dimensions and thus we are able to generate quality 3D renderings and interactive 3D models.  These are very useful to give our customers a good idea of what the final product will look like.  We can present these as a real-time virtual presentation to communicate changes for instant customer feedback.  

NOTES: 

We use Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF) to present our drawings electronically.  "Adobe Reader" is required to view PDF files. This is a free application that may be downloaded by clicking here.

We use the Chief Architect 3D Modelling tool to allow our customers to navigate around, under, within our models.  Using this tool, you can also do full overviews, cross sections and floor by floor overviews.  Following are the steps you might want to follow for the best experience with this tool:

1. Click on "Load Model"
2. Click on the little "[ ]" at the lower right corner.  That will bring you to full screen mode. (Press Esc to return to your desktop)
3. Click on "Rendering Techniques" and choose either "Standard". You may want to choose "Glass House" later...it is cool.
4. Click on "<Rendering Techniques" above to return to the main menu
5. Click and hold the left button of your mouse to spin the model around.Roll the mouse wheel to zoom in and out. (I don't know how to do that if you don't have a mouse wheel). You can zoom right into the house if you like, but it is hard to navigate usefully once inside.After playing around with the exterior view, click "Cross Section".  This will allow you to look down into each floor from above, or to look at a cross section of the house from the sides.  First one to try is the top button.  Click that to select it and then drag its slider to see different floors.  Once you've got it on a floor you want to see down into, use your mouse as described above.  Deselect the top button when done.  The next one to try is the third button. Select it and then use it's slider to slice the house at any point. You can play with the other tools here, but these two are the most useful.
